The 14-hour rainstorm that exposed my whole tarp setup

I spent years setting up my tarp with the ridgeline under the fly, thought it was keeping things dry. Then last month at Big Basin, water pooled in the sag and dripped right onto my sleeping bag at 3 AM. Anyone else figure out they had the geometry backwards for a decade?
