Walked through a pre-construction site in Surrey and noticed something odd

I went to check out a new condo development in Surrey last weekend and the sales center was showing floor plans, but none of the suites had balconies on the renderings. The agent said most buyers now prefer bigger windows over outdoor space because of rain and maintenance costs. Has anyone else seen builders quietly dropping balconies from new projects in their area?

Check the strata bylaws first, they still charge for balcony upkeep even if you don't have one.
