Frost on my handlebars and why I don't mind it
Lots of guys store their bikes once the temperature drops. I ride straight through till spring. People say it's dumb with all the ice around. I get that, but I like the challenge. Last week I was out on a rural route near Sudbury. The sun was low and the pavement had a thin glaze. My thick gloves and heated vest did the job. Felt like I had the whole province to myself. That quiet time on the bike beats any summer crowd.

Isn't that frosty solitude worth a little risk, like my slide on a back road last Tuesday?

Seriously? You spun out on a back road and still think it was worth it? That frost sounds less fun when it tries to kill your car.
