inNew Orleans heat showed me why cold brew works
Last July in Texas, my iced tea was basically my air conditioner. If I didn't have a cold drink in my hand by 10 AM, I was just sweating through the whole day. It's not just about thirst, it's about mental sanity when the sun is trying to cook you alive. I've seriously considered carrying a thermos like it's emergency water for a desert hike. People laugh, but after a week of 95 degree heat, you start to view your lemonade as important safety equipment. I'm convinced my iced latte has stopped me from actually melting into a puddle.

inMy closet server silence attempt ended in a meltdown
So, I've made that exact mistake before. Foam might seem good for noise, but it chokes the airflow every time. You need to get quiet fans or use sound panels made for servers that let air through. Overheating kills parts fast, and melted foam is a huge mess to clean. Always check your temps before and after any change, and keep vents clear. It's a simple thing but it bites you hard when you skip it.
