Rode the old rail trail near Smiths Falls and half the signs are gone now
Was out on the Cataraqui Trail by Smiths Falls last weekend and noticed most of the old wooden mileage markers are rotted or missing. Ten years ago you could ride the whole thing and know exactly where you were, now I passed maybe 3 that were still standing. Ended up pulling out my phone at every crossing just to figure out which way was north. Anyone else ride that stretch lately, did they yank the signs on purpose or just let them fall apart?
