Update: My buddy in Calgary swore by a specific chain lube for winter riding
I thought he was just being picky, but after my chain froze solid on a -15 ride last week, I had to admit he was right. Anyone found a better option for the real deep cold?

It's funny how often the small details turn out to be the big deal breakers! My old car's wiper fluid taught me that lesson the hard way too.
