Covered trailer vs indoor unit in Houston, I'll take the trailer

Everyone in my neighborhood swears by climate controlled indoor storage for classic cars. I paid $190 a month for a unit for 2 years and still got rust on my fenders because the AC unit kept failing. I moved my '72 Cutlass to a covered trailer spot at Lockhart Storage for $80 a month last March. The trailer blocks UV and rain, and the airflow actually keeps moisture down. Has anyone else had better luck with outdoor covered spots than a fancy building?
