My tarp blew off during a storm in Tulsa and soaked my project car, here's what I did
Last month a storm rolled through Tulsa with 60 mph winds and my cheap $20 tarp ripped right off my 1988 Mustang sitting in the driveway, leaving the interior completely soaked. I ran out in the rain at 11pm with two ratchet straps and a heavier 12x20 tarp I had in the garage, then threw a couple of old bricks on the corners just to hold it down for the night. Has anyone found a tie-down setup that actually holds up in high wind without messing up the paint?
