A little bit of maintenance goes a long way, but most folks just want to use something until it breaks and then complain about the quality. The real issue is a lot of people never learn how to properly care for their things in the first place. It's a shame, because it doesn't take much effort to keep something working good for years longer than you'd expect.

Heard some guys at the supply house talking about how some of the cheaper mixes just don't have the right additives for that kind of weather... they said it's all about the calcium chloride content. Guess yours had the good stuff mixed in right.
