That $40 moisture absorber I mocked actually saved my Miata's trunk
After three rainy Seattle weeks I popped the trunk expecting mildew, but the little silica tub had pulled out so much water the carpet was bone dry, now I'm curious if anyone runs these in their daily driver or just classics?

Funny how the stuff we roll our eyes at ends up saving the day. My daily driver's trunk smells like a wet dog that rolled in old fries, so maybe I'm the real moisture problem here. Guess it's time to admit the little silica tubs earn their keep, even if they look like overpriced cat litter.
