PSA: Don't waste $400 on that online certification course I bought

Last fall I signed up for a project management certification course online. It promised job placements and networking but all I got was a bunch of pre-recorded videos from 2019. I spent 3 months going through it and still haven't landed an interview because of it. Honestly I should have just used free resources or asked my boss for a real training budget. Has anyone else gotten burned by those flashy career courses on social media?

Wait, $400 for a bunch of videos from 2019? That's WILD. I can't believe they slapped a "job placement" promise on top of that junk. You could literally find better content on YouTube for free, or even ask ChatGPT to build you a study plan. I'm actually mad FOR you because that's a straight up scam, not a course. Those social media ads are getting out of hand, they make everything look like a golden ticket. I hope you at least fought for a refund on your credit card.

Yeah @the_logan I feel you, but actually those videos might not be from 2019, I think they just say "updated in 2019" in the fine print which is even worse honestly. Still a total rip off either way.
