Finally got a laser level that actually stays calibrated between jobs

After three returns of those cheap green beam ones from Amazon, I picked up a Johnson self-leveling unit for $220 at the local supplier and it held true through a 40-foot deck frame today, has anyone else found a reliable budget option that doesn't drift?

Yeah I used to be one of those guys who thought a laser level was a laser level and the cheap ones were fine. Then I spent a whole afternoon shimming cabinets that were off by a quarter inch because my $50 special drifted while I was cutting the shims. That changed my mind real quick. I don't know if $220 counts as budget but it's way better than what I was wasting on the returns and the headache. What's the longest run you've tested yours on so far without it losing its mind?
