PSA: that $220 palm nailer I grabbed for door jambs is gathering dust in my truck
Bought one back in May thinking it'd save my wrists on trim work. Used it twice and went right back to the 18 gauge. The thing is loud, kicks like a mule, and you still gotta hand set the finish nails anyway. My buddy Chuck warned me, said palm nailers are for framing in tight spots, not finish work. Shoulda listened. Anyone actually getting good use out of theirs or is it just me?

Dude my palm nailer has one job and that's making my hand go numb for twenty minutes after I use it. Bought mine for the same reason, thought I'd be cruising through shoe mold like a pro. Nope. Now it lives in the bottom of my bag next to the air chuck I keep forgetting to fix. At least the money went somewhere, right? Somewhere loud and angry.
