Curious if anyone else learned a basic move late in their career from a kid half their age.

Tbh I was 38 when my new hire showed me the wooden spoon trick for keeping pots from boiling over. I felt like an absolute fool because I'd been messing with lids and lowering heat for years. She just laughed and said her grandma taught her that when she was like 12. Honestly, that humbled me real quick. Kids see the simple stuff we overcomplicate.
