Was team frozen vegetables until I tried canned on a tight week

Ran out of frozen broccoli last Tuesday and grabbed a 79 cent can of green beans instead. They held up better in my cheap stir fry and I didn't have to defrost anything. Anybody else make the switch and stick with it?

Oh man, I totally get this. I was strictly frozen for years too until I tried canned corn for a quick weeknight meal and never looked back. The trick is to drain and rinse them well so you don't get that weird tinny taste. For green beans, I actually prefer the canned ones now because they stay firmer in soups and casseroles. Frozen always turned to mush on me. Just watch the salt content and you're good.

Drained and rinsed green beans still taste like a metal can to me sorry.
