My $3 canned chicken experiment almost ruined dinner night
Grabbed a can of the cheap stuff on a whim last Tuesday. Big mistake. It looked like wet sawdust and smelled like a tire. My husband took one bite and said "honey, this tastes like sadness." Learned my lesson. Never again with canned chicken unless it's the fancy $5 brand. Anyone else got a budget protein that backfired on them?

Canned chicken is a crime unless you're making buffalo dip where the sauce hides everything. That $5 brand is worth it just for not hearing your husband roast your cooking. Cheap tuna is the one that got me, smelled like cat food and tasted worse.
