The $2 rotisserie chicken at the grocery store near my place in Boise fixed my whole dinner problem
I used to buy chicken breasts at $5.99 a pound and cook them dry every single time. Then a guy at the deli counter in Boise pointed at the rotisserie birds sitting under the heat lamp and said they sell the leftover ones for $2 after 7pm. I grabbed one, took it home, shredded it into tacos, soup, and a pasta dish over 3 days. That one bird fed me 6 meals for less than the price of one raw pack. Anyone else hitting up the hot case right before close?
