Why does nobody talk about the $7 Aldi run that fed me lunch for 9 days straight
Two weeks ago I spent $7.12 at the Aldi on High Street in Columbus and walked out with a bag of rice, a dozen eggs, two cans of black beans, and a jar of salsa. I boiled the eggs on Sunday night, made a big pot of rice and beans, and ate some version of that combo for lunch every workday after, which came out to about 79 cents a meal. My coworker Dana watched me pull out the same Tupperware on day 6 and asked if I was doing one of those money challenges, and honestly I was just too lazy to go back to the store. What is your go-to combo when you need to stretch a tiny grocery run the farthest?
