Tried that new drill brush attachment for ash cleanout yesterday
Yeah, the ash got all powdery and went everywhere. My shop vac filter clogged up in like 2 minutes flat. Had to take the whole thing apart and beat the dust out of it on my driveway. Anyone else find a better way to deal with fine ash without making a total mess?

Ugh, fine ash is the worst. Try spraying it with a little water from a spray bottle first, just enough to dampen it, then vacuum it up.

OH MAN do I feel this struggle! I've Definitely been the person standing in their living room with a vacuum hose just STARING at a pile of ash like it's gonna magically disappear if I glare hard enough. Tried the damp rag method once and ended up basically making ash mud, so your spray bottle trick sounds way smarter than my approach. I swear, every time I deal with ash I feel like I'm starring in my own personal comedy of errors. At this rate, I'm gonna start leaving notes for myself taped to the vacuum that just say "DON'T BE AN IDIOT, ROSE.
