Can we talk about how I only just realized our town's solar panels cut $40 off my electric bill?
I live in a small town near Austin. Our community solar project went live 6 months ago. I did not think it would matter much until I checked my bill this morning. $40 less than last summer. That's $480 a year saved. I am starting to think these programs actually work. Has anyone else seen a real drop on their bill from local solar projects?

Good for you. I joined a co-op solar program here and saw about the same savings.
