People keep saying we need to wait for a big tech fix for climate change
I was at a town hall meeting in Denver last month and heard three different people say we should just wait for carbon capture to solve everything. That's a dangerous fantasy. We have the tools to cut emissions right now, like solar and better public transit, but we're not using them fast enough. I've seen the data from the city's own climate office showing we're behind on our 2030 goals. Why are we betting on a future invention instead of building what we already know works?
