The guy at the Lincoln recycling center showed me his 5 gallon bucket of bottle caps
I was dropping off a load of cardboard last Tuesday at the recycling center on N 48th in Lincoln and an older guy named Roy was there with this bucket full of metal caps he'd been saving for a month. He said the workers told him loose caps jam the sorting machines, so he started collecting them and now his whole block saves them for him too. It was a small thing but it stuck with me, one guy getting a whole street to change one habit. Does anyone else have a neighbor who got a block to do something like that?
