Mist-coated the workholding today, not sorry I did
Was deciding between gluing a fixture plate down forever or just using double stick tape for this one off batch of 40 parts. Took the tape route, and after 3 pulls it held dead nuts with zero cleanup drama. Anyone else stick to tape for short runs or is that just me being cheap?

Wait, did you check if the tape left any residue on the part edges after the run? Ive had double stick tape surprise me on softer materials where the adhesive migrates into the finish, takes forever to get off. For 40 parts it works great but if those are going out to a customer with anodizing or paint, that could bite you later. Tape is my go to for prototypes but I always do a quick wipe test on a scrap piece first.
