Switched to a positive rake insert and my finish passes changed overnight

Last Thursday I swapped my old negative rake holders for a positive rake setup on the same 6061 job I've run for two years, and the surface finish went from 63 to about 20 microinches with zero chatter, so has anyone else seen that big a jump just from insert geometry?
