Took out a $2,300 end mill because I trusted the old setup sheet
On Tuesday in Phoenix, the previous shift left the soft jaws on the 5-axis and that sheet said the offsets were still good, but apparently they got moved during a chip cleanup, and now I get to explain to the boss why a brand new carbide tool is in three pieces on the floor, so does anyone else re-verify soft jaw position even when nothing looks touched?
