My entire week was ruined by a single bag of beans from a new roaster in Denver

I bought a bag of their 'single origin Ethiopian' last Monday, and by Wednesday my morning routine was a disaster. The grind was inconsistent, the bloom was weak, and every cup tasted sour and thin, like under-extracted battery acid. I wasted nearly half the bag trying different brew methods, from my V60 to my French press, with zero improvement. It completely threw off my work week because my first coffee sets my whole mood. Has anyone else had a batch from a new place just completely fail on every level?

Ugh, that's the worst! I just made cold brew with my last bad bag.

Bro seriously? That sounds like a you problem, not a bean problem. New roasters need time to dial things in, and maybe your water or grinder is off. I've had bags that started rough but got amazing after I let them rest for a full week. You gave up way too fast. Sometimes a bad week is just a bad week, don't blame the coffee.
