Appreciation post: the vendor at Heroes Con who spent 20 minutes explaining why my Silver Surfer #4 was a reprint
He showed me the staples were rusty and the cover gloss was off, then pulled out his own copy to compare side by side, and honestly I walked away way less bummed than I expected, so does anyone else have a con story where a vendor was nicer than they had to be?
