Is running a dredge at half throttle all day better than full throttle for 4?

Haha yeah Carl figured it out the hard way! Running at full throttle just wastes fuel and wears stuff out faster for no real gain. Half speed usually gets you cleaner cuts and more material in the long run.

I finally figured out why my interviews were flopping after a recruiter gave me 3 minutes of her time

Right? It's wild how just leading with the actual human part of a story changes everything. I did the same thing when I started talking about the one dumb supply chain fire I actually put out instead of listing all my old duties and it worked way better too.

My realtor called me out on overpricing and it saved me $15,000 in Surrey

Got told my "cozy" 500 square foot studio was really just a closet with a hot plate. Realtor said I had to stop calling the building amenities "charming" when it meant the pool was green and the gym had one broken treadmill. Dropping the price by $20,000 got me an offer in a week from a guy who just needed a place to sleep between shifts. Funny how honesty works better than pretending you live in a luxury loft when you really don't.

Wasted $400 on a cheap load cell last month - shoulda listened to my trainer

Gotta gently push back on the pennies thing though. Pennies weigh different amounts depending on the year they were made. Like pre-1982 pennies are heavier, around 3.1 grams, but newer ones are like 2.5 grams. So if you grab a handful of random change you could be off by a decent amount without knowing it. You'd be better off using something with a fixed weight like a can of soup or a bag of sugar that literally says the weight on the package. Just saying it's easy to think you're spot on but be stacking up errors without realizing it.

Been nomading since 2018 and coworking spaces feel totally different now

Is that 2018 vibe dead for good or did these places just shift to serve whatever pays the bills now?
