Tried selling my old back issues at a convention booth last Saturday

I rented a table at the Metro City Con for $60 thinking I'd unload some 90s X-Men duplicates, but instead I spent half the day explaining to collectors why my copy of X-Force #1 wasn't worth $50. I watched a guy haggle me down to $3 on a near-mint copy of Amazing Spider-Man #363 because the color was slightly off. Has anyone else had a convention sale turn into more of a hangout than a moneymaker?

Man, you paid $60 to chat with people about comics, sounds like a pretty good Saturday to me.

And seriously @patkelly, dropping sixty bucks just to stand around talking about comics is a waste when you could read them for free at the library.
