Am I the only one who misses the old days of needing a full set of physical driver discs for a clean Windows install?

Now I just keep a single 32GB flash drive with Ventoy and every ISO I might need, which is way easier but feels a bit less like solving a puzzle, you know?

Yeah, that ritual of hunting down all the discs was half the fun. Now it's just too easy, right?

Oh man, my mate spent a whole weekend trying to find his sound card driver disc once. He had the whole OS running but no sound for days, it was a proper mission. There was a weird sense of victory when he finally got the tinny speakers to work.
