Let a dying laptop sit in a bag of rice for 2 days and it booted, now I don't trust anything I know
Customer spilled coffee on a ThinkPad T480, I told her it was toast and quoted a board replacement. She begged me to try the rice thing first, so I did it mostly to prove a point, and two days later the thing posted fine and has run for 3 months now. Anyone else get humbled by a fix that shouldn't work, or am I just lucky the corrosion hasn't caught up yet?
