A retired guy in Spokane changed how I look at curing blankets

I was pouring a small pad for a shed and this old timer, Bob, came by and asked why I was pulling the blanket off after 3 days. He said he always keeps his wet for a full week, even on small jobs, because the slow cure really cuts down on surface dust and makes the color more even. I figured he was just old school, but he showed me a slab he did last summer near Riverside Park and it honestly looked way denser than anything I've pulled early. Has anyone else tried stretching the cure time like that on smaller pours?
