There was a whole thing with the 4K release where the colorist said the DVD transfers were too warm and that the original prints were always darker and cooler. Coppola apparently signed off on it too. There's a good video about it on YouTube that shows the same scene side by side, though some people still swear the old look was on purpose.

So are you also tracking how many times you use it per week, or just kind of eyeballing the redness? Because I got one of those cheaper panels too, and my skin flipped out the first two weeks before it settled, so I wonder if your rosacea just adapted or if the light really did something. Also, what wavelength does that panel put out, cause some of them are mostly just red LEDs with no near infrared, and that matters a ton for deeper skin stuff. Curious if you noticed any change in texture or pore size, or if it's strictly the redness that improved. The placebo thing is real though, hard to tell when you're staring at your own face every day.
