Changed my mind on power trowels after 12,000 sq ft last week

I used to think finishing a big warehouse slab by hand was the only way to get a feel for the mud, so I fought every guy who said otherwise. Last week I ran a ride on trowel for 12,000 sq ft in Fort Wayne and we cut 6 hours off the pour while the floor still hit a hard, even shine. Anybody else come around on trowels after holding out for years, or am I late to this?
