Update: A 20-yard pour in Tacoma went sideways when the vibrator head snapped off in the wall form.
It happened last Tuesday morning. The head of the internal vibrator sheared clean off about four feet down. Had to stop the whole pour, get the crew to hold up, and fish it out with a magnet on a string. Lost nearly an hour of good working time and the concrete started to set up in the chute. What's the most reliable brand for a heavy-duty vibrator head you guys actually trust? I'm done with the cheap stuff.

Cheap tools always fail when you need them most, just like everything else these days.

My old cordless drill from a discount store died halfway through a shelf project last year. That moment made me realize you're totally right about cheap tools. Now I save up for the good stuff, even if it takes longer.
