Finally figured out why people keep calling the moon landing a hoax with bad math

Ngl it took me a while but I noticed something last week that bugs me. People always point to the flag waving in the moon videos as proof of wind, but they forget the flag had a horizontal rod in it to keep it out. That's not wind, that's the astronauts twisting it into the ground. I know because I actually timed a clip from the Apollo 11 footage after 3 different YouTube videos claimed it was blowing. The motion stops exactly when they let go. Why does this matter? Because a lot of folks just repeat what they hear without looking at the raw footage themselves. Has anyone else tried checking the original NASA archives against those popular debunking videos? I kept finding the real clips contradict the claims.

Drove me nuts for years too until I actually sat down and watched the raw footage frame by frame. The whole flag thing is the easiest one to debunk but people still cling to it like a life raft. I went through about 20 minutes of Apollo 15 footage and saw the same thing every time, the motion stops when they stop touching it. Makes you wonder how many other "proofs" would fall apart if people just looked at the source material instead of some grainy third hand clip.
