I tested my own flat earth logic on a globe and ended up proving myself wrong
Honestly I got into a heated argument with a buddy about flat earth stuff and he bet me $50 I couldn't prove it with a simple home test. So I grabbed a cheap globe from a thrift store in Reno and a laser pointer, and I tried to show how a sun circling above a flat plane would light up the whole surface at once. It didn't work, like not even close, the globe lit up in a curve exactly like the real thing. Tbh I felt dumb but also kinda free, and now I wonder how many other beliefs I hold just because I read them online. Has anyone else tried to prove their own theory and watched it fall apart in real time?
