I paid $180 for a two day water dowsing workshop in Sedona last month because I wanted to test the idea that some people can find underground water with rods or a pendulum. The instructor showed us old well maps and told us about a ranch near Flagstaff where the method supposedly worked, but when I asked for a blind test he said the skeptics always rig the setup and the energy only shows up for believers. Is there any dowsing story that actually held up under real testing, or is this whole field just a money pit that keeps finding new ways to separate people from their cash?
