inShoutout to the client who taught me about skin barrier repair
Wait, are you sure it was fungal? Not trying to be that person but fungal acne usually shows up as tiny, itchy bumps all in one area, and it doesn't always burn the same way a messed up barrier does. Half the time when people think they have fungal issues it's actually just dehydrated skin reacting to everything. Either way glad you got it sorted, but I'd double check with a derm if you haven't already.

inHit 500 elevator recalls this month without missing a single one
Buddy of mine kept a tally for a year and hit four hundred without a callback either... said he got a weird sense of pride out of it.

inTook me 4 months just to get my emergency fund to $1,000. Way slower than I thought
Eight months for a fridge and your nephew's rent, I'm actually reeling a bit. That's the kind of real life nobody warns you about in the shiny savings guides. You still got there though, and that's more than a lot of people can say.

inMy AI model training got stuck for 3 days because of a tiny data format bug
Omg hayden the punctuation thing is so real. @rivera.simon your HTML tag story gives me flashbacks lol. I had a similar issue where my tokenizer was splitting on spaces but not handling newlines, so the model would just jam everything together. What finally worked was adding a custom token for line breaks and padding all sequences to a fixed length so the model could actually see where one thought ended and the next started. Took me way too long to figure that out.

inWas dead set against respirator fit testing until last Tuesday
Zero percent chance I would've passed a saccharin test before seeing it done either, that pink mist story is hilarious and terrifying at the same time. It's a solid reminder how often we think we're fine at something until someone actually checks us, like driving with a blind spot or cooking with a dull knife.
