Tried to prove a chemtrail theory and got drenched in sprinkler water

I was at a park in Austin last Tuesday, trying to photograph a plane trail for my buddy's gaslighting theory. I set up my phone on a bench, looked up, and stepped backward right into a hidden sprinkler head. It soaked me from head to toe, and my phone screen went wild from the water. Two kids nearby laughed, and I had to walk home dripping wet with no proof of anything. Has anyone else had a theory backfire in a weird physical way?

Man it's wild how the universe just shuts down rabbit holes sometimes. I feel like every time I get too deep into some internet theory, real life smacks me back down.
