I used to think high-end toner was a scam, now I get it

For years I told clients to just grab the drugstore stuff and save their money. Then I tried a $45 thermal toner on a whim after a stylist friend in Austin kept pushing it on me. My color treated hair felt completely different after 2 weeks, way less frizz and the brass tones actually faded slower. I still think some luxury brands are overhyped but this one genuinely does something. Anyone else flip on a product they used to trash talk?
