My clipper blade fell apart mid haircut yesterday

I was doing a fade on a regular client in Denver and my Wahl blade just snapped right off the clipper. The screw broke clean through and the blade went flying onto the floor. I had to finish the cut with my backup Andis clippers which I keep in my bag. Anyone else ever have a clipper just break on you like that?

Serious question, I saw a coffee shop in Denver with a public Wi-Fi login that just asked for your email, no extra verification.

On one hand, it's simple for customers, but on the other, it seems like a phishing goldmine for anyone to collect a bunch of valid addresses from a single spot. Which side are you on, convenience or security?

Rant: My book club in Portland argued about 'The Great Gatsby' for two hours and I'm still annoyed

I mean, everyone was going on about how it's a tragic love story, but my friend Carla kept saying it's just about rich people being sad. She said the whole point is that the American Dream is a lie, and the love plot doesn't matter. We were at the Powell's City of Books cafe and she wouldn't drop it. Has anyone else had a club member totally miss what you think is the main point of a book?
