Rant: I thought $50 shears were fine until a master stylist shut me down
I used budget shears from Amazon for about a year and a half, figured sharp enough was good enough. Then a senior stylist at my salon in Austin let me test her Kashi shears on a mannequin and I saw how much cleaner the cut was. Has anyone else made the jump from cheap scissors to high-end ones and noticed a real difference in your work?

Totally agree with @riverowens that Kasho is the right brand. Tried a pair once and felt the difference right away in how clean the cut was. Cheap shears just don't hold up the same way.
