Sanding sealer vs. no sanding sealer on a gel nail marathon

Last month I had a full day of back-to-back gel appointments, six clients in a row, and I hit that moment where I had to pick between prepping with sanding sealer or skipping it to save time. I chose the sealer because my third client had complained about peeling the week before. Big mistake for my schedule. The sealer added ten minutes per hand once I factored in drying time under the lamp, and by client four I was running thirty minutes behind. One lady actually said, "Honey, I've got a dinner reservation, can we speed this up?" I ended up rushing the top coat on her nails and she texted me later that one chipped. Now I only use sealer on clients with known oily nail beds, and I ask ahead if they've had lifting issues. Has anyone else found a faster way to prep without losing adhesion?
