That $600 continuous light setup in Dallas was a total money pit
I spent $600 on a fancy LED ring light rig thinking it would make my client photos pop for my portfolio. Instead, it washes out everyone's skin tone unless I spend another 20 minutes messing with gel filters. My old $40 clip-on lamp from the drugstore gives way better texture for balayage shots. Anyone else regret dropping big cash on studio gear when basic tools worked fine?
