A random kid at the library changed how I see my farm layout

Last Tuesday I was playing Stardew on my Switch in the reading corner of the downtown branch, and this 8 year old walked up and said my crop rows were 'too cramped for the scarecrows to do their job.' He showed me his own layout on his mom's phone, spreading things out with paths between every patch, and honestly it made my whole spring way more chill since I stopped min-maxing everything. Has anyone else had a stranger's casual comment totally shift their approach to a cozy game?

Isn't it wild how a total stranger can just walk up and drop a game-changing tip you'd never think of on your own? I had the same thing happen when a guy at a coffeeshop told me to stop hoarding my maple syrup, and now my whole farm feels way less stressful.
