Everyone raves about quick-release shackles but I had one fail on a 12 ton lift in Denver last month.
The pin vibrated loose halfway through the pick and that load swung hard before I got it settled. I swapped back to regular screw pin shackles the next day and haven't had a problem since. Has anyone else had a quick-release come loose on a job?

Did you try turning it off and on again before the lift?
