Shoutout to the crane buddy who spotted my error from across the street
Was setting up a pulley system for my roof repair and almost dropped a beam. He yelled just in time to prevent a disaster.

Had a plumber flag down my delivery truck once because my brake lights were out. Total stranger just looking out, saved me a ticket for sure.

That crane operator was probably more invested in your roof than you were lol. Gotta love when a whole construction crew becomes your safety manager from a distance.

Remember once when I had some guys putting up a fence and the crew next door just stopped their whole pour to point out my post was about to hit a gas line. They yelled over, we all paused, and they saved me a huge headache. It's wild how they see things you totally miss when you're just focused on your own project. Their view from above or across the way gives them the full picture. I learned to just listen when they speak up, because they usually spot the real problem before it happens. Makes you feel like the whole block's got your back.
