I was doing a pre-shift on an older Grove at a yard in Tulsa last month and found a zerk on the swing pin that hadn't seen a gun in forever, probably since it left the factory. Guys always hit the big points but skip the small ones under the cab deck, and that's how you end up with a $4,000 pin replacement down the road. Why are we so quick to run the hook but slow on the 10 minutes of lube? Has anyone else noticed this on their rigs?
