The $3 salad spinner that made me check every thrift store listing

Found a listing for a salad spinner that was just a photo of it sitting weirdly in a bucket. The description said 'great for crafts or bathing small pets' and I laughed, but then I realized I've been using mine wrong for years. So I bought it for $3 at a flea market in Des Moines last Saturday, and it actually spins paint bottles better than my old one. Who knew a kitchen tool could be so versatile? Anyone else find random household stuff repurposed in crazy listings?

That kind of listing cracks me up because it shows how creative people get with stuff they don't want anymore. Good for you for grabbing it, sounds like you found a real hidden gem. It's wild how a simple kitchen gadget can end up being the best tool for something totally different.
